Explore one of the most popular forms of fiber arts; Crochet inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center! Join teaching artist Andi Meyer to learn how to read patterns and utilize stitching techniques in single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitches.

This workshop will be taught on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This class is appropriate for everyone ages 16 and over. The cost of the class is $40.00 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided. Preregistration is required.

The class will be held inside the Cole Creativity Center, located at 123 N 10th St, Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door.

About Our Teaching Artist:

Andi Meyer has been creating art for over 25 years. Her work consists primarily of 3D fiber artwork, such as spinning yarn, felting, crocheting, knitting, and weaving. Mom to an eight-year-old artist (and several fur babies), Andi works as a special education teacher. Although she has received a BA in Art & Psychology and her MA in Education, her love for learning new techniques and skills has never faded away.
