Cost: $160.00 per child for the entire week
Kids can explore mixed media with teaching artist Jessica Diaz! The Santa Paula Art Museum’s five-day mixed media camp for ages 6-9 is all about having fun and building skills in a variety of 2D mediums, including graphite, pastels, watercolor, ink, and charcoal. Students will learn basic skills in each medium and fundamental concepts such as color, value, and composition.
This five-day camp will be taught Monday, July 22, 2024, to Friday, July 26, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day
This camp is appropriate for kids ages 6-9. The cost of camp is $160.00 per child for the entire week. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited.
*Each day will have a dedicated break time where kids may eat snacks and drink water. Kids must bring their own snacks and water bottles. Water cups will be available. A parent/guardian is required to sign their child in and out every day.

About Our Teaching Artist:
Jessica Diaz has been a Teaching Artist for 7 years. She has experience with in-classroom teaching, residencies, and summer camps. Her background in art includes being a digital illustrator, animator, and oil painter. Her favorite subject to teach students is the versatility of art making. Students in her mixed media class will learn how to use multiple mediums in projects such as collage portraits, assemblage boxes, textured 2D and 3D art projects. Jessica welcomes diverse students to join her class to practice creativity in their own way!
