2024 Kid's Summer Art Camp: Drawing From Life (Ages 6-9)
Date and Time: The week of Monday, August 5, 2024, to Friday, August 9, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day

Cost: $160.00 per child for the entire week
Kids can explore drawing from life with teaching artist Lennin Bernal! The Santa Paula Art Museum’s five-day drawing camp for ages 6-9 is all about fun and building creative skills. Students will learn how to develop a rough sketch into a refined drawing using graphite, ink, and watercolor. Students will learn basic skills in drawing and fundamental concepts such as shading, value and sketching!
This five-day camp will be taught Monday, July 29, 2024, to Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day
This camp is appropriate for children ages 6-9. The cost of camp is $160.00 per child for the entire week. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited.
*Each day will have a dedicated break time where kids may eat snacks and drink water. Kids must bring their own snacks and water bottles. Water cups will be available. A parent/guardian is required to sign their child in and out every day.

South Oxnard-based artist Lennin Bernal honors skills in painting and using the choices of grey scale in art to blur the lines between memories and dreams, reality and abstractions, to give art a timeless and poetic feeling when looking at all of his work.
