Explore fiber arts in Adventures in Weaving inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center! Join teaching artist Andi Meyer to learn techniques in twill weaving, Soumak knots, and Rya knots as she guides you through 3 projects, including circular weaving, tapestry weaving and miniature landscapes!
This class will be taught on 4 consecutive Fridays: September 27, October 4, October 11, October 18, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This class is appropriate for everyone ages 16 and over. The cost of the class is $145.00 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided. Preregistration is required.
The class will be held inside the Cole Creativity Center, located at 123 N 10th St, Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door. The back door code will be emailed to each student ahead of the start date.

About Our Teaching Artist:
Andi Meyer has been creating art for over 25 years. Her work consists primarily of 3D fiber artwork, such as spinning yarn, felting, crocheting, knitting, and weaving. Mom to an eight-year-old artist (and several fur babies), Andi works as a special education teacher. Although she has received a BA in Art & Psychology and her MA in Education, her love for learning new techniques and skills has never faded away.
