[POSTPONED] Class: Eco Flower Printing (Ages 12+)

  • Santa Paula Art Museum's Cole Creativity Center 123 N 10th Street Santa Paula, CA 93060 USA (map)

THIS CLASS HAS BEEN POSTPONED.

Welcome spring and invite nature into your home with our Eco Flower Printing class and the wonders of natural dyes! Using the eco-dye technique, students will work with seasonal flowers and plant-based pigments such as indigo and turmeric to create beautiful prints on natural fabrics. Leave with a new skill and a hand-printed silk scarf and tea towel. This class is for everyone age 12 and over. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies will be provided. The cost of this class is $40.00 per person. Preregistration is required and online registration is preferred. Click here to register online.

Having trouble registering for class online? Please call us at (805) 525-5554.

PLEASE NOTE: You can also bring something from home to dye too! Think about upcycling those old favorites that need a new life, or check your local thrift stores. Any item that is pre-washed and made from plant fibers only (cotton, linen, bamboo, rayon, etc.) will work. (Tip: your item does not have to be white — lighter shades of all colors will work.)
