Teens and adults can join instructor Robin Briceno online for a virtual yoga and movement class streamed live from the Santa Paula Art Museum and inspired by the art currently on exhibit. The class will feature gentle Hatha yoga poses accessible for beginners and all levels of experience, followed by a guided art activity to untether your intrinsic creative flow. About our teaching artist: With a background in dance, opera and musical theater, Robin Briceno has successfully blended her personal passions into her 30-year career working as a Registered Music Therapist and more recently as a Registered Yoga Instructor in treatment and educational settings; facilitating and coordinating programs to inspire and help others heal and achieve their wellness goals through exploration of the Expressive Arts and Yoga. In addition to holding certifications in Hatha and AIReal Yoga™, she is also certified in Accessible Yoga bringing the benefits of yoga and meditation to Every Body through the use of props and modifications of traditional yoga poses. She holds a certification in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and Meditation by the Warriors at Ease organization specializing in serving members of military communities and first responders. Robin operates her own business, Harmony Yoga & Wellness, offering singing lessons for wellness in addition to her yoga classes. Included in her business is a collaborative program, Harmony Accessible Yoga in which she offers Chair Yoga classes with her co-teacher Lisa Clements Feeney.
