Unwind and get creative at this fun-filled 1-day ceramics workshop led by the talented teaching artist, Jynell Dimalanta! In this relaxed, hands-on class, you’ll sip wine and paint your very own ceramic mug using vibrant underglaze colors. Whether you’re new to ceramics or a seasoned artist, Jynell will guide you through every step of the process, helping you create a beautiful and personalized mug to take home.

Your mug will be pre-made and ready for you to decorate, so you can dive straight into the fun part—painting with underglaze! Using brushes, you'll learn various techniques to apply color, texture, and design to your mug, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Jynell will offer expert guidance and tips throughout the session, so you can confidently explore your creativity while enjoying the relaxed, social atmosphere.

As you work, enjoy a glass (or two!) of wine to enhance your creative flow. It’s the perfect way to unwind, connect with fellow art lovers, and enjoy the process of creating something special.

At the end of the workshop, your painted mug will be fired in the kiln and ready for pickup at a later date. You’ll leave with your own handcrafted ceramic piece and a smile on your face!

*Please note: Long nails can make working with clay frustrating. We recommend trimming your nails down before attending class. Clay is also very messy, so please dress in clothing you don’t mind getting stained and covered in clay. You are welcome to bring an apron and towel/rag for wiping your hands throughout the process. Long hair must be pulled back as a safety precaution.
