Santa Paula Art Museum docent Seana-Marie Sesma will share her personal discovery of community and art at Burning Man. Burning Man is an annual gathering that takes place at Black Rock City, a temporary city erected in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. Sesma will describe the experience of attending Burning Man and the lessons it taught her about the importance of self-expression. She will also explain how Burning Man inspired her to create “The Land of Light,” a new community art event taking place on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the Santa Paula Art Museum. The Land of Light is a unique event that aims to bring the community together in a new way of seeing art.
