The Santa Paula Art Museum will be giving away free Art To-Go Bags on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. The bags will be available via a drive-thru only pick up in the parking lot behind the Santa Paula Art Museum starting at 9:00 a.m. (while supplies last - limit 5 bags per family). Please enter the parking lot from 10th Street and follow the posted signs and directions from staff, and please wear a face mask.
This month’s free Art To-Go Bag explores the healing power of art through meditative art projects. Inside each bag kids will find a mix of media including paint, crayons, rocks, paper, and more to complete projects including rock painting, mandala-making, bookmaking, and meditative drawing. Kids will also have the chance to win a gift basket of art supplies and books by submitting a picture of their mandala art!
The Museum’s monthly, free Art To-Go Bags are made possible by sponsors Brianne McGrath, Rotary Club of Santa Paula, Kai and John Blanchard, Fran and Jim Christiansen, Patti and Pete Fallini, Kathy Good, Laurence Holmer, Willa and Earl McPhail, Michael Pulliam, Santa Paula VFW Post #2043, and Dorcas Thille.
