Join us at the Santa Paula Art Museum for the premiere of “Douglas Shively and Friends,” on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The exhibition features over 50 never-before-seen works by historic Santa Paula artist Douglas Shively and his friends, agroup of painters who epitomize the SouthernCalifornia fine art scene of the 1920s and ‘30s,including Jessie and Cornelis Botke, Robert Clunie,John Cotton, Lawrence Hinckley, Ralph Holmes,George Demont Otis, Paul Sample, F. Grayson Sayre,and Nell Walker Warner.
The exhibit will open with a premiere party on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 4 PM to 6 PM. Admission to the event is $5 for SPAM members and $10 for non-members. Beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
“Douglas Shively and Friends” will be on view from July 13, 2024, to November 3, 2024, only at the Santa Paula Art Museum.
