Discover the ease and artistry of linoleum printmaking! Practiced by masters but friendly enough for beginners, linoleum cuts are versatile and fun. Students will learn the tricks and techniques for making images, carving the linoleum blocks, and the wide variety of printing options. This class is for everyone age 16 and over. All skill levels are welcome, and all supplies are provided. The cost of this class is $85.00 per person, which includes two sessions: Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and Sunday, March 10, 2019, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, as well as a tool set and linoleum blocks that each student will take home. About Our Teaching Artist: Matilda Morrison is a teacher, writer, and guinea-pig enthusiast based out of H Gallery + Studios in Ventura, California. She makes linocut prints inspired by poetry, prose, tarot cards, and little animals.
