About Mary Neville
Born and raised in Southern California, Mary Neville is influenced by the vividness and openness of the west coast. A self-taught painter, Mary’s mixed media paintings include a variety of mediums such as acrylic paint, paper, pencil, and chalk and oil pastels.
Before turning her attention to painting, Mary spent many years working in various creative environments including fashion, interior design, and architecture. She earned her Associate of Arts degree in Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Los Angeles, CA. Those experiences are reflected in her work through spatial awareness and her use of color.
Mary is a member of Ojai Studio Artists. She currently lives and works in the beautiful Ojai Valley with her husband, 3 dogs, and a cat. Neville is currently represented by 10 West Gallery in Santa Barbara, CA; Fringe Shoppe in Ventura, CA; and OVA Arts in Ojai, CA.
