Lynn Hanson’s work stems from a rapt attention and visceral connection to the natural world: from a childhood spent stalking garter snakes at Whiskey Ditch in rural Minnesota to a daily ritual of exploring beaches and canyons along the California coast. Amidst her cache of skulls, crow’s nests, black widows in mason jars, mermaid’s purses, and other finds, she transcribes her fieldnotes. Hanson’s work carries an undercurrent of longing: drawings of native wildlife on vintage maps; paintings of the the gray sea, heaps of rope, and shelters of wrack and bramble; pinhole and chlorophyll photography from her wanderings. Lynn Hanson has exhibited internationally and is represented in many prestigious and diverse collections including LACMA, Ed Ruscha, and the San Francisco 49ers to name just a few.

John Robertson is best known for his sports art, but has worked on a variety of commercial projects, including movies and television. After coming across some of his large-scale paintings, FOX Sports network hired John to create work for a national television campaign advertising the NBA. The network hired him again to create work for an MLB All-Star Game. The high-visibility of those two projects resulted in Robertson being sought out by private and commercial clients for sports and other art projects. John has created art for arenas and stadiums belong to the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, and New Jersey Nets; the NFL’s Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and San Francisco 49ers; the MLB’s Atlanta Braves; and the NHL’s New Jersey Devils.
