Elegant and easy, the suminagashi paper-marbling process is mesmerizing, relaxing and fun - with gorgeous results! Turn any gift into a work of art with hand-made, original wrapping papers. About Our Teaching Artist: Kathleen Kaller is a teaching artist originally from the East Coast now living with her family in Ventura, California. She is also the Santa Paula Art Museum’s Museum Educator. Kathleen received a Bachelor of Arts from Emerson College in Boston in film and art history. She then continued her education and studied painting, textile design, art education and art therapy at Otis College in Los Angeles. Her love for the ocean, color, and hand-made printmaking inspires her creative work and workshops. Kathleen also believes wholeheartedly in the therapeutic power of art. Emphasizing the creative process over the final outcome, she guides her students to expand and trust their intuition.
