2025 Summer Artist Studio (Ages 14-18)
Date and Time: Eight consecutive Thursdays: June 12, June 19, June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, and July 31, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Teaching Artist: Klay Kidd
Cost: $140 for all eight sessions
Learn from artist Klay Kidd as he guides you through projects in sketching, mixed media, and painting! This eight-part course for youth ages 14-18 will include multiple projects and opportunities to develop your own portfolio and receive professional feedback.
This eight-week course at the Santa Paula Art Museum’s Cole Creativity Center will be taught on eight consecutive Thursdays: June 12, June 19, June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, and July 31, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
This course is appropriate for ages 14-18. The cost of camp is $140.00 per student for the entire program. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited.
Scholarships Available!
The Santa Paula Art Museum offers financial assistance to qualifying individuals. To qualify, students must be between the ages of 3 and 18, and their family must be enrolled in the state’s EBT or WIC program. Once verified, you will receive a discount code to cover enrollment. Financial assistance is limited and not guaranteed.
About Our Teaching Artist:
Klay Kidd is a woodworker, muralist, and graffiti artist based in Southern California. Klay studied studio arts and ceramics at Ventura College. From designing his own wooden sculptures to painting local murals and traditional paintings, Klay’s biggest passion is working with youth. He has led teen groups in Ventura and is the Assistant Educator at the Santa Paula Art Museum.
