More About Anne Ward:
Anne Ward always dreamed of becoming a painter and decided to pursue painting after working for a Hollywood writer/director on several films. It was while living in France that Anne discovered the thrill of painting outdoors with an easel and returned home fully devoted to the pursuit of painting. Anne is primarily self taught and has been painting and showing her work for the over 30 years. Anne is a Signature Member of the California Art Club and an Artist Member of Oil Painters of America. Her greatest joy is growing food and flowers in her Ojai yard where she lives and paints with her husband, writer/painter Ian Roberts.
Anne began using the iPad and Procreate app in 2009 as a fundamental took in her daily art practice. It allowed her to dream bigger while taking advantage of the small moments, and she loves to teach others how to use technology to stay creative.
“Painted Seasons” is on view now through July 6, 2025. Click here to learn more.
