In conjunction with the current exhibition, "A Brush with Nature,” at the Santa Paula Art Museum, Santa Clarita artist Charlotte Mullich will demonstrate her watercolor painting process inside the Museum on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The demo will begin at 2 PM and guests will be able to observe and chat with Mullich as she paints. The demonstration is included with regular museum admission, which is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors, and free for SPAM members, students, and children. Reservations are not required.
More About Charlotte Mullich:
Award-winning artist Charlotte Mullich grew up in New York, where her love of the changing seasons, nature, and the outdoors had its beginnings. Her love of art and painting come from her father, a professional artist and graphic designer. Mullich earned her bachelor’s degree in art education and taught for several years in upstate New York before moving to California, where she continues to teach painting and drawing at the high school level. Mullich earned a master’s of art degree, with an emphasis in art history. Throughout her career she has explored all mediums including oil, acrylic, pastels, and color pencils, but always returns to watercolors. Charlotte is an artist member of Woman's Painters West, Santa Barbara Artist Association, Valley Watercolor Society, Santa Clarita Artists Association, and is an Associate Member of the American Watercolor Society.
