Join us for Free Family Day inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center on the first Sunday of every month from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In addition to enjoying the Museum’s current exhibits, you’ll experience hands-on art activities for the whole family, with local artists and educators sharing new ideas and media each month. Admission is free, all are welcome, and all materials are provided.

On Sunday, March 5, 2023, children can learn how to create their own toys using recycled materials. They'll have plenty of inspiration as Oxnard toymaker Gene West will be bringing his wooden toy creations for families to explore and play with!

Fun fact: Santa Paula is home to three museums, all of which offer free admission on the first Sunday of every month. Make a day of it and visit the Santa Paula Art Museum, the Museum of Ventura County’s Agriculture Museum, and the Aviation Museum of Santa Paula. Hours and activities will vary by location, so be sure to check each museum’s website or Facebook page for full details. (Please note, the California Oil Museum is currently closed.)
